A little about me.
Kyle R Martin is a third generation Calabrese-American, born and raised in Austin, Texas. In 2010, he graduated cum laude from Saint Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing & Rhetoric (Creative Focus). He has previously and continues to publish fiction and essays with a number of magazines and journals. He first arrived on the University of Texas campus in September 2014, when Terry and Jan Todd hired him to work at the H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture & Sports. He left in 2018 to work in partnership with the museum and exhibits team at the LBJ Presidential Library. He also completed projects for the Briscoe Center for American History and the Stark Center. In January 2020, he returned to the Stark Center as the curator. His primary fields of work are writing, designing, and curating new exhibits and other creative projects related to the promotion, marketing, and enhancement of the Stark Center and its missions.
